Camera Movement
  •  Crane Down- moves you into the story or the scene.
  • Crane up - gives us a feeling of how small the character is or how large the obstacle is that he or she has to overcome.
  • Handheld camera movement- can give us a feeling of uneasiness or danger.
  • Quick pan- can change the emotional feeling of a scene at once.
  • A quick push in- creates a feeling of surprise or shock.
  • Slow dolly in- creates tension and helps us become a little more intimate with the character.
  • Slow dolly out- can leave the character looking emotionally lost or abandoned.
  • Dolly across-  changes the emotional direction of a scene.
  • Glidecam- creates a motion thats more smooth than a handheld camera. Creates more of a dance feeling while two people hold guns.
  • Handheld camera- feels edgy and stressful.
  • Glidecam 360 reveal- gives you a calm before the storm feeling.
  • Zolly- creates an overwhelming emotional feeling.
